I spent my last day in Portree, Skye by hiking through nature and meditating in the middle of this paradise. Sometimes even singing out loud. I know, those poor trees had to put up with me. The more I spend time in nature, the more I feel like that little carefree kid who doesn’t care about anything or anyone. The bond I’m having with myself and my creator has never been so strong for a very long time. I’m loving every moment of it! This is how I want to feel every day and this is what I want to take back to my career and life back in the States.Â
I should thank the Nicholson Clan for making this trail so I could easily navigate my way through the mountains.Â
Watching the reflection of the sun in the water was the best meditative experience.
Had yummy tapas dinner (Carrots with coriander seeds, beets with goat cheese, and cauliflower roast) at the Rosedale restaurant in the hotel I was staying.
I happen to be in Portree when they were having the Piping competition and festival. I got to watch the piping parade, which was an amazing experience. The air was filled with music and everyone, young and old, were happy and gay.Â
