Goodbye Big Heart Londoners

With heavy heart I’ve to leave London. Mostly, it’s my old and new friends that made my two months UK visit so much more memorable. Having been to London so many times, I was just happy spending time with my friends either on the couch chatting for hours, cooking meals together or exploring neighborhoods.

Apart from adventures in UK, what I really learned was the “value of friendships and relationships.” They opened their hearts and homes to me. Who does that in this day and age? So, I’m truly blessed to have such loving and welcoming friends in my life.

Charu and Peter welcomed me into their home in Greenwich, which was the perfect base to explore UK. Since I could leave my luggage at their place, it was so easy to travel light. After taking various side trips, it was nice to come back to their home. It surely was more like a “home away from home.” We cooked healthy meals together, watched movies and explored neighborhoods on weekends. This was the longest time we had spent together and I was spoiled rotten. Would be hard to be back on the road after being showered by so much love.

I also spent two days with Becky, who I had met at the Noisily festival, at her lovely home by Tower Bridge, which was a nice treat to be living in the city center. We had some deep conversations over dinner and wine. I’m going to miss our chats and her home cooked delicious meal.

Got a relaxing Reiki by the talented Becca and I’m excited to be learning Reiki in the near future. After my Reiki session, I had home cooked meal with Nick and Becca. When you are in good company time can fly by so fast, until I realized that I better head over to the train station or else miss the last train from North Acton.

Was lovely meeting Silvana again for dinner at The Culpeper and explore the Spitafields neighborhood.

Ana aka Coops made time from her busy schedule to meet me for lunch in Soho and shared lots of ideas about my upcoming silent meditation retreat.
