Coastal Walk from Bondi to Bronte

Day 3 in Sydney was Beach time. After having a light breakfast at my apartment, I hopped on to bus 333 which took me to Bondi Beach.

Bondi Beach –

The view of the beach from the Bondi Park was a perfect place to sit down under the shade and soak all this beauty in before continuing my coastal walk.

Coastal Walk –

With its sweeping views of the spectacular coastline, this is one of the most popular walks in Sydney. I had opted to walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach, around 3.5km walk.

Sculptures by the Sea –

I was lucky to be at the Bondi Beach during the sculpture week, got to see beautiful sculptures that were strategically placed around the coastal path.

Statue of Mad Liberty by Wang Kaifang was hands down the show stealer, depictomg the “Unfortunate” current state of American politics and society.

Mark’s Park –
Saw a big rock on the cliff near Mark’s Park area overlooking the coastline and decided to sit here while snacking on nuts as the waves crashed.

Wow! I enjoyed seeing this “free,” entertainment about patience, perseverance and never giving up attitude of these surfers.

Home with a View –

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in one of these homes and seeing the amazing coastal view everyday!

Lamingtons –

We will never know whether it was the Kiwis or the Aussies who invented the Lamington dessert, I decided to have one in Sydney just so I can compare it when I eat one in New Zealand as well, and decide who the original inventor is. Lamington is A sponge cake square dipped into chocolate and coconut.

Dinner time –

As it started to rain, I headed back home and on the way stopped at a grocery store to pick up some food for dinner. Came back home and made a quinoa salad with veggies, nuts and mango, watched the reruns of “Sex and the City” and capped it with a glass of wine.
